Heather, the winner of Hell’s Kitchen Season 2, was determined and experienced leadership qualities. Her first job after appearing on the show was as a Terra Rossa at the Red Rock Resort, where she worked for one year before moving to Monteray Restaurant, Jellyfish Restaurant, and later Broadway Grill, before finally moving to Schafer’s in Port Jefferson. Hell’s Kitchen may be over, but the streets are alive and well. West is currently a chef at the Oyster Bar & Grill in New York City. She was eliminated in the second week of the show. In 2009, it was announced that West would be a contestant on the reality television show The Biggest Loser. In 2007, she was featured in an episode of the reality television show Kitchen Confidential. She worked under head chef Laurent Tourondel. After her elimination from Hell’s Kitchen, West became a sous chef at the Empire Hotel in New York City. West was the sixth contestant to be eliminated, finishing in 11th place. During the show, she was nicknamed “Hurricane Heather” by head chef Gordon Ramsay. In September 2006, it was announced that West would be one of the contestants on the second season of Hell’s Kitchen.
